A Stunning Asian American Wedding at Villa Terrace in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Tenzin and Kevin’s week-long celebration was a breathtaking blend of cultural heritage and modern elegance — from an intimate Tea Ceremony at home to a grand wedding at Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum and a lively reception at River Valley Historic Venue in Milwaukee.
Their wedding was one of those days that reminds us why we do what we do. A week of celebration. Two venues. Traditions honored with intention. And a couple so deeply grounded in their love and their community that every moment felt both monumental and effortless.

Tea Ceremony: Honoring Heritage
Tenzin and Kevin began their wedding week with a traditional Tea Ceremony held at the bride’s home — a vital aspect of many Asian weddings that symbolizes respect and gratitude toward family. It was a day filled with emotional moments, beautiful attire, and the warmth of close family and friends gathering before the larger celebration.

The Ceremony at Villa Terrace
The ceremony was held at the stunning Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum — one of Milwaukee’s most architecturally distinguished wedding venues. The Italian Renaissance architecture, the terraced gardens overlooking Lake Michigan, and the warm afternoon light created a setting that felt both grand and intimate. Tenzin and Kevin’s chosen palette of white, sage, and gold complemented the venue’s natural stone and greenery perfectly.

Bridal Party and Fashion
Tenzin looked stunning in her Jenny Yoo gown, paired with heirloom accessories that carried personal significance. Her bridesmaids wore dresses from Show Me Your Mumu in shades of champagne, copper, and pink — adding warmth and vibrancy to the wedding’s sage-and-gold palette. Kevin and his groomsmen were sharp in Jos. A Bank suits, with Kevin in a tux from Men’s Wearhouse.

The Reception at River Valley Historic Venue
The celebration continued at River Valley Historic Venue in Milwaukee, where guests enjoyed a lively and heartfelt reception. From the grand march to touching speeches and the couple’s first dance, every moment was meticulously planned. The décor, arranged by Modern Sage Planning, featured elegant lighting and floral arrangements that enhanced the venue’s historic charm. Select Vibe DJ kept the dance floor packed from first song to last.

A Celebration We’ll Never Forget
Tenzin and Kevin’s wedding was a testament to what happens when tradition, elegance, and personal intention come together. Their week-long celebration in Milwaukee honored their heritage while creating something entirely their own — and it was a privilege to document every chapter of it.
Tenzin & Kevin — thank you for trusting us with your story. We’re cheering you on as you write every beautiful chapter ahead.
