Their conversations often turned to deep biblical discussions, and for the first time, Beau found himself answering questions rather than asking them. Lexie’s genuine interest in getting to know him stood out, and their friendship grew naturally over the months.
The First Date That Wasn’t a Date
In July 2023, Beau finally gathered the courage to ask Lexie out. Their first “date” was a hike along the river in Ogden, ending with a beautiful sunset. Conversation flowed effortlessly, and Beau couldn’t have been more at ease. Little did he know, Lexie wasn’t entirely sure it was a date until a friend pointed it out. For her, it was just a great time with a friend—but for Beau, it was the beginning of something more.
Over time, their friendship deepened. They spent time together at Bible study, organized group events, and shared their faith, dreams, and struggles. A turning point came on Halloween, when Beau invited Lexie to pass out candy with his roommate, Zach. When Zach canceled, Lexie realized it was just the two of them—and soon after, Beau officially asked her to be his girlfriend.
A Proposal Filled with Meaning
Beau knew that when he proposed, it needed to reflect everything that mattered to Lexie—faith, family, and thoughtful planning. He involved her family and created a moment that was personal and meaningful.
Lexie said yes, and their journey from Bible study friends to lifelong partners was complete. Today, they are planning a Christ-centered wedding, filled with love, family, and faith at Harmony Haven Ranch in New Harmony, Utah.
A Love That Continues to Grow
Lexie and Beau’s story is a reminder that God’s plan is often greater than we can imagine. From a simple Bible study to a lifelong commitment, their love story is a beautiful example of faith in action.
