For fifteen years we have photographed people on the most important days of their lives. The same quiet approach serves a company well: prime lenses, good light, and a preference for the real expression over the forced one.
James Stokes & Co. photographs a limited number of corporate sessions and events each season, for organizations that want their people to look like themselves, and their gatherings remembered the way they actually felt.
One team, one light, one quiet hour
We bring a small studio to your office and photograph your whole team against the same backdrop, in the same light, at the same crop. Your website, LinkedIn, and proposals read as one company instead of a collection of strangers.
Each person has a few unhurried minutes and sees their frames before they leave. When someone new joins, we photograph them to match.

An event, remembered the way it felt
Conferences, award dinners, galas, company milestones, and speaker sessions. We cover the stage and the sponsors, and we also find the conversations in the hallway that show what your organization is really like. We work the room the way we work a wedding: observed, unobtrusive, never missing the photograph someone will ask for later.
A headshot station can be added for attendees, and a small set of selects is delivered quickly for social, with the full gallery to follow.
How a session unfolds

A short call about your people, your space, the date, and how the photographs will be used.
Arrival
We arrive early and build a small studio in a conference room or quiet corner.
Session
People come through on a schedule you set. Each sees their frames before they go.
Delivery
Retouched portraits in a private gallery, cropped for web, LinkedIn, and print.
Corporate sessions and events are $400 per hour, with a four-hour minimum. Retouching and commercial use are included.

Questions we are often asked
How long does each headshot take?
About five minutes per person. We set up once and photograph your team in a steady rotation, so the workday carries on around us.
Can people hired later match our team headshots?
Yes. We keep a record of the backdrop, light, and crop from your session so new team members can be photographed to match.
What should people wear?
Solid colors, nothing with fine patterns or large logos, and whatever they would wear to meet an important client. We send a short guide beforehand.
Are the portraits retouched?
Yes, gently. People should look like themselves on a good day.
What does corporate photography cost?
Corporate sessions and events are $400 per hour with a four-hour minimum. Retouching and commercial use are included.
Do you travel for corporate work?
Yes. We are based in Medford and photograph on-site across Wisconsin and the Midwest.
